Tridarma Collaboration between UMM Agrotechnology and Muhammadiyah University of Mataram

Malang, July 28, 2023 - Agrotechnology Study Program of the University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) and Agrotechnology Study Program of the University of Mataram have signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) to increase cooperation in the implementation of the Tridarma of higher education. The MoA event took place in the One Day Service (ODS) room, attended by a number of important officials from both universities.

The MoA signing event is a step forward in an effort to increase collaboration between two Agrotechnology Study Programs that have great potential in the development of agricultural science and technology. This collaboration is also expected to provide tangible benefits for students and lecturers from both universities and the wider community.

At the event, the Head of the UMM Agrotechnology Study Program, Dr. Agus Zainudin, and the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture-Animal Husbandry UMM, Dr. Ir. Aris Winaya, M.M., M.Si. IPU was also present. ASEAN Eng. They welcomed this collaboration and hoped that this MoA would open doors for various academic, research, and community service activities that would involve students and lecturers from both universities.

This MoA marks a joint commitment to developing potential and research in the field of agrotechnology, so as to be able to make a real contribution to improving agriculture in Indonesia. By sharing knowledge and experience, the two Agrotechnology Study Programs are expected to produce innovations that have a positive impact on the agricultural sector, especially in facing various challenges faced by farmers and the agricultural industry.

On the occasion, Dr. Agus Zainudin stated, "This collaboration will be a positive synergy for academic development and research in the field of agrotechnology. I hope that with this collaboration, the two universities can jointly create innovative solutions in supporting food security and the welfare of agricultural communities."

Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture-Animal Science Dr. Ir. Aris Winaya, M.M., M.Si. IPU. ASEAN Eng., also expressed his view, "This MoA will open opportunities for students to access knowledge and experience from two different institutions but have the same vision and mission in bringing the progress of agriculture in Indonesia."

With the cooperation that has been signed, it is hoped that the two Agrotechnology Study Programs can accelerate learning and research in the field of agrotechnology, as well as establish closer relations between the two universities. This MoA is also expected to make a positive contribution to the development of human resources in agriculture, which will ultimately have a positive impact on the progress of the agricultural sector in Indonesia.
