Malang, November 14 2023. The Agrotechnology Department, University of Muhammadiyah Malang, East Java, is holding an interesting collaboration exploration with PT Tiara Kurnia. The agenda for this meeting aims to establish a Center of Excellence (COE) in organic fertilizer production. The meeting, which was attended by company leaders and study program leaders, as well as several lecturer representatives, took place in Dadapan Hamlet, Codo, Wajak District, Malang Regency.
In a warm meeting, both parties highlighted the potential for strong collaboration in establishing an organic fertilizer COE. PT Tiara Kurnia company leaders expressed their enthusiasm for collaborating with the Agrotechnology Study Program to develop organic fertilizer production technology that is more environmentally friendly and efficient. Meanwhile, the head of the university's study program also highlighted the potential for research and development that can be carried out together for progress in the field of agrotechnology.
The presence of several lecturer representatives from the Agrotechnology Study Program also enriched the discussion by presenting knowledge and experience of research that had been carried out. It is hoped that this collaboration can produce innovations in the development of organic fertilizer which can sustainably increase agricultural productivity.
Dr. Ir. Agus Zainudin, MP, Head of the Agrotechnology Department, expressed his hopes regarding this collaboration, "We hope that this collaboration will bring a big breakthrough in the development of sustainable agricultural technology. Collaboration with PT Tiara Kurnia is an important step to unite the strengths of research and industry to improve quality organic fertilizer that suits future agricultural needs."
This meeting ended with an agreement to continue exploring the possibility of more concrete cooperation in establishing an organic fertilizer COE. Both parties are optimistic that this collaboration will have a positive impact in developing environmentally friendly and innovative agricultural technology in the Malang region, East Java.
